Location: Eastern South America, bordering the Atlantic Ocean
Language: It's Portuguese, which is spoken by almost all of the population and is virtually the only language used in newspapers, radio, television, and for business and administrative purposes.
Flora and fauna: Brazil's large territory comprises different ecosystems, such as the Amazon Rainforest, recognized as having the greatest biological diversity in the world.
Climate: Comprises a wide range of weather conditions across a large area and varied topography, but most of the country is tropical.
Food and drink: the caipirinha is "the nacional drink" of Brazil. Other importants drinks are the Guaraná, beer and the batida de coco. An important food is the bombón garoto.
