The Italian Republic or Italy is a country in southern Europe.

Area: 301,230 km² - Population: 57,998,353

Italy is a country in the Union European. Italy has got two big islands and his names are Sicilia and Cerdeña. The capital of Italy is Rome and it has got a lot of monuments. The most important monument in Rome is the Vatican because is the biggest cathedral in the world.
